Programs That Go Beyond the Classroom.
Venture Outdoors Co. has been connecting school groups, youth programs and adventure seekers with Australia’s Snowy Mountains for over 40 years. Our programs are designed to help students learn by doing — developing teamwork, confidence, and respect for the environment. From beginners to advanced adventurers, we tailor experiences to your school’s aims and the curriculum.
Winter Programs.
Ski, snowboard, snowshoe, or spend a night on snow under the stars. Partner with major resorts or head into the backcountry — safely guided, fully equipped, and purpose-built for learning.

Summer Activities
Year Group Camps
Turnkey year group programs in the Snowy Mountains, tailored to suit your school’s goals. We combine a range of summer mountain activities with the opportunity to stay in lodge accommodation or camp under the stars. Whether your cohort is 20 or 300, partner with us to build a program that fosters community, resilience, and connection through shared outdoor experiences.
Wilderness Programs
Journeying by foot, mountain bike, or river craft through certified wilderness areas, these expeditions can form the peak experience in a sequential outdoor education program or serve as a standalone adventure of a lifetime. Each journey fosters self-reliance, leadership, and connection to Country through immersive, hands-on learning.
Duke of Edinburgh
Led by our qualified guides, our Bronze, Silver, and Gold Duke of Edinburgh Summer Adventurous Journeys (AJ’s) challenge and inspire students to develop leadership, independence, and a deeper appreciation for the outdoors.
